Mixed media using wood, packing material and black tape. This medium allows for quick strong energetic form building and texturing. Large scale renders create a sense of density without the weight. Often forms will be left partially exposed and hollow giving a sense that all is not as permanent as it first appears. A theme that seems to run through my 2d and 3d work. As with life, when the viewers perception is shifted, from the seemingly absolute and solid, greater depth is found.
